After you add a contact, you can update their information at any time. You can also set a language and status to help you organize your contacts.
Editing a Contact
- Open the contact from the Contacts tab.
- Tap Edit.
- Update any field — name, address, language, or notes.
- Tap Save Changes.
Setting a Contact's Status
Each contact has a status that reflects your relationship with them. You can set this when creating a contact or change it later by editing the contact.
The available statuses are:
- RV (Return Visit) — Someone you have visited at least once and plan to visit again. This is the default.
- Studying — Someone you are conducting a Bible study with.
- Studying Regularly — Someone you study with consistently.
The status affects how the contact appears on your Dashboard and whether they are counted in the Study Report Helper.
Setting a Contact's Language
If the person speaks a language other than your own, you can record it in the Language field. This is especially helpful if you work in a multilingual territory or a foreign-language group.
The language appears as a tag on the contact's detail screen, making it easy to identify at a glance.
Searching for Contacts
On the Contacts tab, use the search bar at the top to find a contact by name, notes, or visit content. The search checks the contact's name, general notes, and most recent visit notes.
Deleting a Contact
- Open the contact from the Contacts tab.
- Tap Delete in the top-right corner.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a contact permanently removes the contact and all associated visits from your device. This action cannot be undone. If you have a backup, the contact will still exist in the backup file.
