Logging a visit helps you remember what you discussed with a person and what literature you left. The next time you visit, you can review your notes so you are prepared to continue the conversation.
How to Log a Visit
- Open the contact you want to log a visit for. You can do this from the Contacts tab, the Dashboard, or the Map view.
- Tap + Log Visit.
- The visit date defaults to today. To change it, tap the date field and choose a different date from the calendar.
- Type your visit notes. Describe what you discussed, any questions the person raised, or anything you want to remember for next time.
- Optionally, enter any literature you placed — for example, "Enjoy Life Forever ch. 4" or "Good News tract."
- Tap Save Visit.
A confirmation message will appear, and the visit will be added to the contact's timeline.
Reviewing Previous Visits
When you open the Log Visit screen, a summary of your last visit with that person is shown at the top. This helps you pick up where you left off.
To see the full history of visits with a contact, open the contact's detail screen. All visits are listed in order under Visit Timeline, with the most recent visit at the top.
Tips for Good Visit Notes
- Write what the person said or asked, not just what you said. This helps you remember them.
- Note specific scriptures or publications that interested them.
- Include practical details: "She works mornings — visit after 2 p.m." or "Blue house next to the park."
- Keep it brief. A sentence or two is usually enough.
Logging a Visit From the Visit Tab
You can also tap the Visit tab at the bottom of the screen. If you have a contact selected, the Log Visit screen opens for that contact. If no contact is selected, you will be prompted to choose one first.
